Guess who hasn’t posted in awhile?
Besides being unspeakably busy, I was also privately freaking out about a potential injury. See, this is what I do when I might be hurt.
First I run through all the worst-case-scenarios in my head.
Then I talk with my husband about it. He is the audible voice of reason.
Then I get depressed.
Then I take a realistic look at what’s going on.
A couple of years ago I had a tibial stress fracture. In case you’re curious, those suck. They make it so you can’t run for a pretty long time.
Lately I’ve been feeling just a bit of a twinge…but in the exact same spot. Now you see why the freak out.
Yesterday’s 7 miles was completely pain-free, so I’m just taking it one day at a time (and continuing to do calf-raises and take my calcium).
